Managing Player Data

Adding A Player

From the Main Menu screen tap the menu option 'Manager Player Data'. This will then display the Players List page.

To add a player simply click the '+' button on the toolbar located at the foot of the page. This will then show the Player Edit page.

Fill in the player's name and select the player's gender. NOTE the gender selected will impact on the maximum handicap that can be assigned to the player. Male players can recieve a maximum handicap of 28 while female players can recieve a maximum handicap of 36. When specifying the player's handicap be sure to enter their official club handicap (if they have one) to the nearest decimal place. This will be rounded up/down accordingly and will be used as the default handicap for that player when creating a new game.

Once all details have been entered simply press the 'Save' button located in the navigation bar at the top of the page which will return you to the Players List.

The Players List will now show the added player including the player's handicap and a badge specifying the number of games captured for that player. There is no limit to the number of players that can be added to the app.

Deleting A Player

From the Players List page tap the 'Edit' button located in the navigation bar at the top of the page. Then tap the '>' button next to the player you want to delete. This will take you to the Player Edit page. To delete the player dismiss the keyboard so the the toolbar can be seen at the bottom of the page. There you will find the 'Delete' button. A warning message will be shown when trying to delete a player.

Player Profile

The Player Profile page shows the stats for an indavidual player covering the game cards that have been signed (see Managing Game Data for more information on signing cards).

The profile shows the number of Games Played by the player. Tapping on this row shows a list of the games played by the player with a badge indicating the gross score attained. The profile also shows the number of indavidual courses played, again expanding in to a list of the courses with a badge value showing the best score attained.

Other stats on the profile page include Average, Best and Worst stats for Gross Score, Putting, GIR's and Fairways. The Best and Worst stats navigate to the game in which they were scored.

Located on the toolbar at the bottom of the profile page is the option to display the stats relating to either 18 hole or 9 hole games.

If the profile being displayed is applicable to the iPhone owner (see Settings on how to identify the owner) then the name field will navigate to the Game Center stats for that player.
